At Bentex Suits, our aim is to ensure that you not only look your best but also feel comfortable wearing our Bespoke Suits. All our suits are custom designed to suit your taste and needs and come with perfect fit Guarantee. No hours of shopping around and trying different suits involved here, the process is fairly simple and will only take 45 minutes of your time.
A bespoke suit begins with a pattern drafted from scratch for your body alone. Made to measure begins with an existing block pattern that is then modified to your measurements. Bespoke involves more hand finishing, more fittings and more scope to accommodate an unusual build or posture. Made to measure is faster and less expensive, and for most builds the difference in the finished fit is small. We offer both and will tell you honestly which one your build calls for.
Four to six weeks in most cases, and longer where the specification is complex or the cloth has to be brought in. Because a bespoke pattern is drafted rather than adapted, there is more work before construction begins. We confirm the timeline at your consultation. Priority orders can usually be accommodated if you need it sooner.
Bespoke sits at the upper end of our range. Our two piece pricing runs from $799 to $1699 depending on the cloth, and bespoke work is quoted against your specification and fabric at the consultation. The mill you choose is usually the largest factor in the final figure. See our pricing tiers.
More than a made-to-measure suit. Where made to measure typically runs to a measuring appointment and a final fitting, bespoke usually adds an intermediate fitting so the drafted pattern can be checked and corrected on your body before the suit is finished. The exact number depends on your build and the complexity of what you have asked for.
We hold cloth from Loro Piana, Drago and Holland & Sherry among a range of over 5,000 fabrics, which makes us one of the largest fabric stockists in Sydney. If you have a particular mill or a specific cloth in mind, bring the reference to your consultation and we will tell you whether we can source it.
Yes. Your pattern, measurements and full specification stay on file. That means a second bespoke garment can be cut without starting the drafting process again, and it is the reason bespoke gets faster and easier after the first suit.
